Bohol And Its Beautiful Tourist Attractions




Bohol is quite a beauty to behold and is considered as a place worth a visit so come on and catch the first plane you can get towards this beautiful island.

Bohol is famous for it’s beautiful and unique chocolate hills. On the way to the spot where you can find the famous chocolate hills you would come to notice the beautiful forest like area along the road and will come to hear the splashes of water flowing in the river towards the river bank. On this area called Busay falls you can see the floating restaurant. In this restaurant they are serving the freshest seafood and the freshest coconut juice. At the riverside, you would be able to see a small area where the Tarsiers are gathered in a big cage. You can touch and even put these little creatures on your shoulder or even on your head if you want to. These adorable creatures attract a lot of people that you may seem to want to buy one and take it to your homes, well I’m sorry to disappoint you but that is not allowed. And besides Tarsiers do commit suicide when they are left alone and away from their homes.

As you continue your land trip towards the Chocolate hills there would be more forest like area along the road. If you’re lucky you would be able to find wild Tarsiers on the trees. As you arrive at the spot where you can find the famous Chocolate hills you would be able to see a staircase that can lead you to the top of the hills. After climbing the long staircase you would be able to watch the wonderful scenery on top of the Chocolate hills. You could also find good souvenir shops around the area where you can buy unique items for your friends and family. Somewhere in Bohol there is a cave known as the Eva cave. In this cave you would be able to find beautiful wild orchids and tree ferns that grow abundantly beside the cave. There are also many birds in this area and the people are selling bird eggs to visitors of these caves.

Bohol is not just a place where you would be able to find great food, view and animals, it is also a place where you would find different historical places like the blood compact site where Datu Sikatuna a native Boholano chieftain and Don Miguel De Legazpi the representative of the King of Spain forged a blood compact that represent friendly gestures that builds the Treaty of Friendship between the two group of people. Aside from this historical landmarks there are many beautiful beaches, museum, old churches and old houses that dates back to the Spanish period.
